About Kamrup Metro District Judiciary: The Court of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup, was established in the year 1920. The territorial jurisdiction of the court was extended up to erstwhile Nagaon District in the East and Dhubri District in the West. Presently, the territorial jurisdiction of the District is extended over Greater Guwahati only. Altogether, the establishment of the District Judge & the Chief Judicial Magistrate comprise of 24 courts manned by Judicial Officers of various grades.
The various Court Complexes present in the Kamrup Metro District are Family Court Complex, Industrial Tribunal, Labour Court , Addl. CBI Court Complex , Motor Accidents Case (MAC) Tribunal No.-1, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Special Railway Magistrate Court Complex.

Chief Administrative Officer / Sheristadar | To apply for the post of Chief Administrative Officer / Sheristadar at the Kamrup Metro District Judiciary, the candidate should have done Graduate having experiencc of serving as either Sheristadar of Additional District & Sessions Judge or as Head Assistant in the District & Sessions Judqe Establishment {or cquivalent District Court establishments} for a period of at least 5 (five) years. |
The candidate that is interested and fulfills all the eligibility are required to submit their applications through the proper channel by hand or by email (cbicourtpanbazar@gmail.eon) to by post, enclosing copies of all the relevant documents/testimonials and two recent passport-sized photographs.
