Salary: Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- per month (inclusive of local taxes) and will be finalized and fixed during negotiations based on the qualifications and experience. TA/DA and Allowances admissible as per project norms.

M.E. / M. Tech in Civil Engineering/Post Graduation in Construction Management, with preference to specialization in Structural Engineering.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction, design and construction management of public infrastructure including overseeing the preparation of DPRs, Structural Designs and also Execution of Civil Works.
For applicants having a PhD in Civil Engineering or related fields, the minimum experience required would be 7 years altogether.
Significant experience in managing large construction contracts or firms, including the use of project management tools and knowledge of good practices for effective construction management.
Demonstrated knowledge of use of up-to-date structural design/ construction management software and practices.
Experience in externally aided projects or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) or any leading private construction company at national level will be preferred.
Women, Transgender and LGBTQ candidates will be given preference.
Excellent IT skills like usage of utility software including MS Office, Stata, ChatGPT and computer aided softwares e.g. StaadPro, SAP 2000, Etabs, Primavera etc.

The Assam State Disaster Management Authority was notified in the year 2007 with the adoption of the Disaster Management Act in the year 2006. Honourable Chief Minister, Assam is its Chairperson and Hon'ble Minister Revenue and Disaster Management is its Vice Chairperson. To execute the mandate of the Authority the State Executive Committee with the Chief Secretary, Assam as its Chairperson has also been notified as per provision of the Disaster Management Act. The ASDMA Secretariat with officers, consultants and employees, for carrying out the functions of the State Authority, became fully functional in the year 2010. ASDMA has also notified the District Disaster Management Authority in all the 27 districts of Assam and placed officers for carrying out disaster management activities at the district.
