Gauhati University has released an employment notification for recruitment to 33 posts of Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor under various departments of Gauhati University.

1/ Post Name: Professor

No of posts: 8

Salary: 1,44,2O0 – 2,18,200 /-per month

Qualification: As per UGC Norms.

2/Post name: Associate Professor

No of posts: 15

Salary: 1,31,400 – 2,17,100/- per month

3/ Post name: Assistant Professor

No of posts: 10

Salary: 57,700 – 1,82,400/- per month

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- in case of SC/ ST) DD in favor of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at SBI Branch, GU as application fee for the post.

How to apply: Prescribed application form may be downloaded from the G.u. website www.gauhati.ac.in. A completed application in the prescribed form along with necessary enclosures must reach “The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014”.
