Qualification Criteria NIT Silchar JRF Vacancies:  

• M.E., M. Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology streams (Manufacturing/Design/Materials) (GATE/NET qualified) .
• Master Degree in Design and Manufacturing Engineering/CAD-CAM and Automation/ Manufacturing Engineering/Materials with relevant research experience in the field of welding and joining.

Selection Process for JRF NIT Silchar Jobs:

• The Institute has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview on the basis of screening. No candidate may be recruited if suitable candidates are not found.
• Selected candidates shall have to sign an agreement at the time of joining.
• Relaxation on qualification and age: SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD/EWS candidates will get relaxation as per Government of India Rules and Regulations
