Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Junior
Assistant:

To be suitable for the advertised post of Junior Assistant in Inspectorate of
Electricity Assam, candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree from a
recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the
Government. He/ She must have computer skills and have the ability in handling
data and text on computer typing both English and Assamese

How to Apply for Inspectorate of Electricity Job Opening:

Candidates having essential qualifications are advised to submit their
applications in Standard Form as published in Assam Gazette Part-IX along with
the following documents mentioned below

One self-addressed envelope of size 5 cm X 11 cm affixing unused postal stamp
of Rs. 5/-

Self-attested copies of all certificates and marksheets in support of
educational and other qualifications, diploma in computer, age, caste etc.

Two copies of recent passport size photographs signed and dated by the
candidate on reverse side of those

Self-attested copy of valid Registration Certificate of Employment Exchange

At the top of the envelope( containing the Application Form) should be
superscribed as "Application for the post of Junior Assistant" with " Category
ST(P) / SC / UR" whichever is applicable

The above testimonials and application should be submitted to the Chief
Electrical Inspector-cum-Adviser, Assam, 1st Floor, West End Block, Housefed
Complex, Dispur, Guwahati-781006 .

It is to be noted that the last date of submission of applications is 6th
March 2021 during office hours.

Selection Procedure for Junior Assistant in IEC Guwahati:

At first, candidates must appear for a written test. Following the test, those
candidates who are shortlisted shall be called for Computer Proficiency Test
and original document verification process. Both the written and computer
proficiency test will be held at Guwahati.
