NIPER, Guwahati has recently released an online application
stating the recruitment of 28 posts for
Teaching and Non- Teaching staff in several disciplines. The candidates who are
eligible for the posts may go through the following details in order to apply for the job.

Qualifications

1. 1.Associate Professor

Ph.D., in Pharmaceutical Sciences with First
class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree(M.Pharm/MS) in
Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology & Formulations/Industrial
Pharmacy with a very good academic record throughout

·
Experience- At least 8 years of Teaching/
Research/Industrial experience with published works of high quality well
recognized and established reputation of having made a conspicuous seminal
contribution to knowledge in Pharmaceutical and allied areas.

2. Assistant
Professor

·
Ph.D., in Pharmaceutical Sciences with First
class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Pharm/MS) in the
Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology (Formulations/Industrial Pharmacy)
with a very good academic record throughout.

·
Experience - at least 5 years of Teaching/
Research/Industrial experience with published works of high quality.

3. Administrative
officer

·
Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a
recognized Institute/University.

·
Experience: 5(Five) years of experience as
Assistant Section Officer (ASO) or equivalent in Level 7 in any Central/State
Govt. or University/PSU or other Central/State Autonomous Bodies. Proficiency
in Noting and Drafting.

4. Estate
and Security Officer

·
Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized
university/Institute.

·
Experience: 5 (Five) years of experience in commissioned
service in Army/Navy/Air Force/Para Military Force or Police only not below
the rank of Captain or equivalent /Dy.SP of police

5. Technical
Assistant (Computer Section)

·
Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences from a recognized
University/Institute.

·
Experience: 3(Three) years of experience in data management
and website management in reputed organization

6. Medical
Officer

·
M.B.B.S. Degree in any one of the Schedules to
the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in
State Medical Register or in Indian Medical Register.

·
Experience: 5 (Five) years of experience in
reputed organizations/ hospitals.

7. Accountant

·
B.Com from a recognized University/Institute.

·
Experience: 3(Three) years of experience in
any Central/State Govt. or University/PSU and other Central/State Autonomous,
other recognised institute of repute.

8. Secretary to Registrar

·
Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a
recognized Institute/University. Proficiency in typing in English with a
minimum speed of 40 wpm.

·
Experience: 5(Five) years of experience as
Personal Assistant or equivalent in Central/State Govt./ Organizations
/PSUs/University/Research Institution or Central/State autonomous other recognized
institutes of repute.

9. Assistant
GR. II

·
Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a
recognized Institute/University.

10. Junior
Technical Assistant

·
10+2 with Science Subjects

11. Scientist/Technical
Supervisor Grade-I

·
M.Sc./ M Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institute

·
Experience: 4(Four) years of experience of
research/teaching in Central State Govt. Organizations /University or
Research Institution or Central/State autonomous other recognized institutes
of repute.

12. Scientist/Technical
Supervisor Grade-II

·
M.Sc./ M Pharmacy from a recognized
University/Institute .

·
Experience: 2(Two) years of experience of
research/teaching in Central State Govt. Organizations /University or
Research Institution or Central/State autonomous other recognized institutes
of repute. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in
SEM/TEM/Formulation QA/QC/Bioengineering and maintenance of instruments.

Selection Procedure for Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff:

The selection for the posts shall be on the basis of Written Test/Interview/Skill
Test. The final selection shall be done by the component Authority of the
institute.
