Government of Tripura State MGNREGA Cell, Rural Development
Department (RDD) has released an online application stating the vacancy for 6
Ombudsman posts. The candidates who are
eligible for the posts may go through the following details in order to apply for the job.

Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria for
Ombudsman:

The applicant must be a person of eminent standing with at
least ten years of experience in public administration, law, academic, social
work or management. Experience in working with people or community
organizations will be a mandatory requirement. No person who is a member of a
political party shall be considered for appointment as Ombudsman. The person
selected as Ombudsman must be physically active and capable of conducting field
tours, inspection and visits to remote locations in the districts. In the
Selection of Ombudsman, preference may be given to a person resident of the same
or neighboring district. The person who has already served as Ombudsman shall
not be eligible for this post.

Selection procedure for Ombudsman job vacancy:

For the selection for
this post No written test or examination shall be conducted while an interview
and an internal marking system should be evolved

By the Selection Committee to rank persons in order of
preference.
