Assam's Directorate of Secondary Education has issued an official announcement for the recruitment of 6296 High School TET certified applicants. DSE, Assam has issued a notification to fill vacancies in various high schools throughout Assam's 21 plain districts. Eligible candidates will be able to apply for Graduate Teacher positions online within the specified time frame.

  Required Education Qualification	Graduate Teacher (Arts)- The candidate must be a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education certified institution and an Arts/Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate in Arts/Commerce with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) from a recognised university (s). Graduate Teacher (Science)- The candidate must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education certified institution and a Science Graduate or Post Graduate in Science from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) (s) Graduate Teacher (Hindi)- Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and a degree with 50% marks or a postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognised university. OR a BA with 50% marks and Hindi as one of the subjects with 50% marks, or a postgraduate in Arts with 50% marks, provided that he has completed BA with Hindi as one of the courses with 50% marks in Hindi. B.T/ B.Ed. degree from any recognized University (Parangat to be treated as B.Ed. degree). Graduate Teacher (Assamese Language Teacher)- BA with Hons/ Major in the concerned subject with 50% marks and BT/ B.Ed. degree from any recognized University.
  Nationality	An Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam is eligible for this recruitment.
  Age Limit	Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2021.
  Age Relaxation	The upper age relaxation will be as follows- · OBC/MOBC: 3 Years · ST/SC: 5 Years · Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years · PwD: 10 Years
