The Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, the second medical college to be established in Assam, is also a health care institution. It provides medical education at undergraduate, postgraduate and super-specialty levels. The College was established in the year 1960.

The College offers 5 1⁄2-year MBBS degree, which includes a one-year internship. It also offers both degree MD/MS (3-year) and Diploma (2-year) postgraduate medical courses. DM and Mch courses are also offered.

Graduate degree in any discipline. Minimum six months diploma/certificate in Computer Application.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to appear in the Walk-in-Interview to be held on 27th May 2022 from 10:00 A.M. onwards at Seminal Hall, Department of Gastroenterology, 3rd Floor, Super Speciality Hospital, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, Guwahati-781032, Assam.
