Jio Provides 3rd Round of Complimentary Services for Customers in Flood-Hit Assam

GUWAHATI: Reliance Jio has announced a complimentary four-day unlimited plan - with unlimited free calls within its network and data services upto 1.5 GB per day, along with 100 SMS per day for a period of four days to its customers in the flood-affected areas in Assam Jio said in a message sent to customers in Assam, "Due to devastating flood conditions your service experience was impacted in the last few days. As a goodwill gesture, we have applied a COMPLIMENTARY 4-DAY UNLIMITED PLAN on your number."

This is the third time in the last two months that Jio has given this offer to give relief to flood-impacted customers in different parts of the State. Jio stands firmly with its customers in these tough times.

To help them stay in touch with their loved ones and remain connected, Jio has extended a complimentary 4-day unlimited voice & data pack and 100 SMS per day.

Though there is a slight improvement in the flood situation in Assam, about 21 lakh people are still affected across 22 of the 36 districts of Assam as per the latest reports.

In some of the areas, the network is cut off and customers are not contactable, whereas in other areas customers are unable to do recharges due to travel constraints. We hope this plan serves as a timely humanitarian gesture to the affected customers of Jio.
