About CJM West Karbi Anglong
Initially the Judicial Courts at West Karbi Anglong, Hamren were established on 7th September, 2019 and functioning as Court of Munsiff cum Judicial Magistrate First Class and Addl. District & Sessions Judge as Circuit Court under the administrative control of District Judiciary,Nagaon.
Eventually,on the 15th day of September,2022 ,Hon'ble Mr. Justice Achintya Malla Bujor Barua,Judge Gauhati High Court and Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Malasri Nandi, Judge Gauhati High Court has inaugurated the Newly created Courts of District & Sessions Judge and Chief Judicial Magistrate at West Karbi Anglong, Hamren.
On inauguration of the new District Judiciary, Shri Bablu Sutradhar became the first District & Sessions Judge and Shri Ajoy Kumar Basumatary became the first Chief Judicial Magistrate of West Karbi Anglong District Judiciary at Hamren.
