Directorate of Historical and Antiquarian Studies, Assam has published a recruitment notification regarding recruitment of Assistant Conservator/Preservator Posts. Interested may check the detail notification as given below

Master’s or Diploma degree in Conservation, Preservation, Museology, Art Conservation, Heritage Studies, Chemistry, Material Science, or Library and Information Science with specialization in conservation/preservation.

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of practical experience in the field of conservation/preservation of manuscripts, documents, or artworks. Hands-on work with palm-leaf manuscripts, sanchi-pat, paper manuscripts, and indigenous materials preferred.

Interested and eligible candidates need to appear walk-in- interview as per the schedule at the Directorate of Historical and Antiquarian Studies, Near Meghdoot Bhawan, Panbazar, Guwahati-1, Assam.

The candidates must bring a Curriculum Vitae/ resume and 3 copies of passport size photographs with self-attested photocopy of all the certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates etc along with the original documents for verification.
