Bachelor’s Degree in History / Sanskrit Assamese / Anthropology / Archaeology / Folklore or related disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates with prior fieldwork.

Experience: Experience in cultural documentation or community- based research with a willingness to travel extensively across rural and remote areas.

Interested and eligible candidates need to appear walk-in- interview as per the schedule at the Directorate of Historical and Antiquarian Studies, Near Meghdoot Bhawan, Panbazar, Guwahati-1, Assam.

The candidates must bring a Curriculum Vitae/ resume and 3 copies of passport size photographs with self-attested photocopy of all the certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates etc along with the original documents for verification.
