Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (commonly abbreviated as the BCPL) is a public sector undertaking situated at Lepetkata, Dibrugarh district, Assam, India. Included in the Assam Accord as an Assam Gas Cracker Project, the construction of BCPL was launched by then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on 9 April 2007 and it was inaugurated for production on 5 February 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The GAIL (India) Limited is the main promoter with 70% equity participation and rest equity stakes are owned equally by the Government of Assam, Numaligarh Refinery and Oil India. Ethylene, propylene, Linear low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene and polypropylene are the different petro-products and polymers produced by the plant currently and two production units for hydrogenated pyrolysis gasoline and 1-Butene are under construction.

Foreman (Mechanical) – Trainee	1	Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical & Automobile with minimum 55% marks.
Operator (Chemical) – Trainee	3	Bachelor Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 50% marks or B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks.
Technician (Electrical) – Trainee	2	Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical / Wireman Trade.
Technician (Mechanical) – Trainee	2	Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Machinist / Turner trade.
Accounts Assistant - Trainee	1	Bachelor Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 50% marks and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English (in computer). Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer.

Stipend	Post No 1 and 2: Rs 23,000/- Post No 3 to 6: Rs 21,000/-
Age Limit	Upper Age Limit is 30 years .
Age Relaxation	Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below: # SC/ST: 5 years # OBC-NCL: 3 years # PwBD-General/ EWS: 10 years # PwBD-OBC (NCL): 13 years # PwBDSC/ ST: 15 years
Experience	To be taken as Trainee for a minimum period of one year training with stipend.
