About NHM

The National Health Mission (NHM) was launched by the government of India in 2013 subsuming the National Rural Health Mission and National Urban Health Mission. It was further extended in March 2018, to continue until March 2020. It is headed by Mission Director and monitored by National Level Monitors appointed by the Government of India.

The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), now under National Health Mission is an initiative undertaken by the government of India to address the health needs of under-served rural areas. Launched on 12 April 2005 by then Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the NRHM was initially tasked with addressing the health needs of 18 states that had been identified as having weak public health indicators. The Union Cabinet headed by Manmohan Singh vide its decision dated 1 May 2013, has approved the launch of National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) as a Sub-mission of an overarching National Health Mission (NHM), with National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) being the other Sub-mission of National Health Mission.

Project Engineer (Civil)

Up to 62
Years as on 1st April 2021.

Degree in
Civil Engineering or AMIE (Section A & Section B) in Civil Engineering
from any recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

Minimum 8 years' experience in execution and
supervision of Civil works in the Construction of Building works under
Govt./Semi Govt./Reputed Construction Agency etc. and fully convergent with
recording measurement of Civil works related to building works including
payment procedures. Retired person from Govt. Department as Asst. Executive
Engineer (Civil) and above with sound health condition may apply for the post.

Proficiency in written and spoken English and
Assamese.

Mandatory qualification: CAD, MS office

Assistant Engineer (Civil)

Up to 43
Years as on 1st April 2021

Degree in
Civil Engineering or AMIE (Section A & Section B) in Civil Engineering
from any recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

Preference will be given to the persons having
working experience in health sector organizations.

Mandatory Proficiency: CAD, MS office.

Junior Engineer (Civil)

Years as on 1st April 2021.

Diploma in
Civil Engineering from any recognized Institute/ Polytechnic with a minimum
aggregate of 60% marks.

Preference will be given to the persons having
experience in health sector organizations.

Mandatory Proficiency: Auto CAD, MS office.

Junior Engineer (Instrumentation)

Up to 43 Years
as on 1st April 2021.

Degree/Diploma in
Bio Medical/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering from any recognized
Institute/ Polytechnic with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks and having
minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in the installation
& maintenance of medical equipment and other related works under reputed
Organization/Agency

Mandatory Proficiency: MS office.

The selected candidate will have to
travel extensively to different parts of the district.
