The candidate that is interested and fulfills all the eligibility are required to get their names sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange offices on or before 5th May, 2023 and submit the duly filled-in/completed forms along with the required self-attested copies of certificates on or before 04.30 pm of 12th May, 2023 at the Office of the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department, PWD Complex, Khoyathong, Imphal – 795001 Manipur.

Candidates claiming reservation or age relaxation or both should submit attested copy of valid SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificate at the time of submission of application form for verification. Any application form received after the prescribed last date shall not be entertained under any circumstances.

About Water Resources Department:The Department of Water Resources was created out of the Directorate of Irrigation, which was under the Agriculture Department, vide Government Notification NumberCA.24/2009/25 dated the 25th August 2009. This Department is headed by the Chief Engineer. Earlier, the Organizational setup, prior to the creation of the additional technical posts, consists of the Chief Engineer and Additional . Chief Engineer (M and E), being assisted by an Executive Engineer, at the State level, two Superintending Engineers at the Circle level and seven Executive Engineers at the Division / District level. There are 13 Sub-Divisions under the seven Divisional offices in the State.
