Assam Agricultural University (AAU Recruitment 2024)
Assam Agricultural University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of research internship/training under the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST funded project (SRG/2022/001969) titled “Exploring the genetic regulators of suberin and HCAA pathway for imparting broad-spectrum tolerance in tomato against soil-borne vascular pathogens and drought” at Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions Lab, Department of Plant Pathology. SERB has adopted Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) Policy to imbibe a culture of social commitment among SERB Grantees. The policy intends to effectively utilize scientific infrastructure and expertise of SERB grantees to benefit other S&T stakeholders especially the less-endowed researchers and the society. This program would facilitate the young talents to choose a career path in Science and Technology. The internship is for 2 months (1st September 2024 to 31st October 2024).

Stipend: Stipend will be paid at the rate of Rs. 5000/- per month. The student may be provided accommodation on payment basis subject to availability. In case of unavailability of accommodation, the student will have to arrange for their accommodation and meet all other living expenses on their own.

Qualification for Internship Programme Job Vacancy at AAU Recruitment 2024
Candidates who have recently completed M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Veterinary/ Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ or equivalent from University/Institution/College and having a strong orientation towards Molecular biology research may apply.
