North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Umiam is conducting a walk-in interview for the following Research Scientist positions on a project basis tentatively scheduled on 05th August 2024 at NESAC, Umiam at 08:30 AM. Location: Umiam, Meghalaya
Age limit: Maximum age of 35 years as of the date of Interview. Relaxation by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates. Ex-servicemen and persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders.
Salary: Pay in the Level 10 of the Pay Matrix. The pay will be fixed in the minimum Pay Level i.e. at present be approximately Rs. 56100/-. In addition DA, HRA, and medical benefits for self only will be allowed as per rules.
Date of Interview: 05.08.2024 (Monday)
(i) M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Water Resources Engineering with a specialization/ dissertation in water resources with a B.E./B.Tech in Civil/ Agricultural Engineering.
(ii) One year of working experience in the relevant field.
Desired Experience:- Experience in Hydrological and Hydraulic Modeling using Remote Sensing & GIS inputs, etc.
Interested and eligible candidates are required to directly come to the venue along with their Biodata (as per the prescribed format) and all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in the Biodata along with a set of self-attested photocopies of the documents.
Candidates who are already employed under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies will also have to produce the “No Objection Certificate”, in original, at the time of interview.
Biodata should be neatly typed in the prescribed Biodata Format and then printed out to be taken. Hand-written Biodata will not be accepted.
