1. NET or SLET/SET Or Ph.D Degree awarded in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations
2. The clearing of NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for candidates in such disciplines for which NET/SLETISET has not been conducted.
3. A minimum of 55% Marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed) at the Master’s level.
4. A Relaxation of 5% shall be allowed at the Bachelor’s as well as at the Master’s level for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC.
