NHAI Job Notification 2021 

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications for the 41 posts of Deputy Manager (Technical) in the Level 10 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (Pre-revised: Pay Band-3 [(Rs.15,600-39,100/-) + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-)] with Central DA on Direct recruitment basis through GATE 2021 scores in the discipline of Civil Engineering. The number of posts advertised may increase or decrease at the discretion of the Authority.  Post Details,  Salary Scale, Qualification Given Below:

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Manager Vacancy: 

• Candidates must hold Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
• A valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 Score in Civil Engineering discipline

Note-I: Candidates who are appearing for the final year/semester Degree (in Civil Engineering), the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the post, are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, whose announcement of final year results of Degree by the Universities/Institutes are likely to be delayed this year due to COVID Pandemic, are allowed, as a special case, to produce the proof of passing of the Degree at a later stage and such proof of passing the requisite Degree should NOT be dated later than 31st December, 2021 under any circumstances. In case of their selection, their joining to the post in NHAI will be considered only after submission of proof of passing of Degree in Civil Engineering acquired on or before 31st December, 2021, failing which such candidates will not be considered.

Note-II: In case of candidates who are selected, but could not join NHAI due to pending receipt of proof of passing of Degree in Civil Engineering from their Universities/Institutes by the stipulated date i.e 31st December, 2021 or any other reason whatsoever, the period of delay in joining the post will be treated as delay on the part of the candidate(s) and their seniority, upon joining, will be regulated strictly in accordance with the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) guidelines, from time to time, on the subject.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for the post. No inquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.

• It is clarified that NHAI does not entertain transfer of service bonds in case of selected candidates who are working in any other Government Organisation. Therefore, no request/ query in this regard will be entertained.  
• The candidates are advised to submit the Online Recruitment Application well in advance without waiting for the closing date.  

Selection Process for Deputy Manager Job Vacancy: 

On the basis of valid GATE score 2021 in Civil Engineering discipline as on closing date of advertisement. However, NHAI reserves the right to invite candidate for interview, as per cut off for respective category subsequently to be decided by NHAI.
