Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited Recruitment 2025

Tripura State Electricity Corporation (TSECL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 01 Legal Officer Posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply Offline through the official TSECL website. The last date to submit the application form is 18-11-2025. 

Min 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Fulltime Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Master Degree in Law/ Master Degree in Law from any Institution/University recognized by the UGC.

Min 5 (five) year’s post qualification experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department in any Central or State Government Deptt./ PSU/ Organization with ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies to complex situations. Preference will be given to the candidates with relevant experience in PSU/Central PSO engaged in Power Sector.

However, this limit may be relaxed in case of deserving candidate

The power supply industry in Tripura was under the control of the Department of Power of Government of Tripura till 31st December 2004. The department of power, Government of Tripura was entrusted with generation, transmission, distribution and also rural electrification since inception. The Department of Power was a beneficiary constituent of North Eastern Regional Electricity Board. Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited started functioning from 1st January 2005 and has taken over the existing network and asset of Power Department for operating and maintaining the power supply industry in Tripura. The state has a population of 36.74 Lakh as per 2011 census and spread over 10,486 sq. km. in 8 districts comprising of 7 major towns and 875 villages. The state is predominantly agrarian with few small scale industries.
