National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the TIH, IIT Guwahati sponsored project entitled "Design and development of an AUV for pisciculture and ROV for water quality assessment and bathymetric analysis" in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The Institute has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview based on screening. Qualification for Junior Research Fellow Job Vacancy at NIT Silchar Recruitment 2024

MTech in Civil/EE/ME/ECE/CSE/Instrumentation/ Mechatronics OR BTech with valid GATE

Desirable Experience :

Knowledge of design, and development of underwater vehicles and their control; bathymetry and also water qualities of rivers & their measurements; image processing.

Selection Procedure
