 Indian oil corporation limited ,an integrated oil company in India has
notified about the 505 vacancies for the post of Trade Apprentice and
Technician Apprentice. The interested applicants can check further details like

Qualification & Eligibility criteria for Trade Apprentice & Technician Apprentice:

• Fresher / Non graduates who has not undergone
  any skill training before taking up on the
  job training or practical training under the Apprentices Act , 1961 ,
  will be considered .
• Candidates with qualification acquired from
  distance learning /part time / correspondence mode shall not be considered.
• Candidates applying for more than one trade
  /discipline will not be considered.
• Candidates who have undergone training or have a
  job experience for a period of one or more are not eligible.

How to Apply for IOCL Job Opening:

1.The candidates meeting the criteria ,can apply online and
register as a Trade Apprentice online in
the Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT) portal https://apprenticeshipindia.org and
as a Technician Apprentice online with the board of Apprenticeship Training
(BOPT) portal at https://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/commonRedirect/registermenunew!registermenunew.action .ONLY ONLINE MODE OF APPLICATION WILL BE
ACCEPTED .

2. The candidates need to upload scanned copy of the latest
color photograph and the documents like 12 TH STD CERTIFICATE / MARKSHEET, EWS
/ Caste Certificate as applicable and signature to be uploaded without fail.

3. The candidate must have an active email id and phone number,
valid for at least next one year. The
details regarding exam and other will be sent through email.

Selection Procedure for IOCL Job Posts:

The selection shall be done on the basis of the performance
in the written exam (duration 90 minutes ) and meeting notified eligibility
criteria .The written test will comprise of 100 questions with objective type
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQS) consisting of 4 options with one correct
option. The question would be bilingual i.e., English and hindi .

Trade Apprentice – Accountant

• Generic
  Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude – 30 marks
• Reasoning Abilities – 30 marks
• Basic English Language Skills – 40 marks

Trade Apprentice – (Filter/Electrician /Electronics Mechanic
/Instrument Mechanic /Mechanist) and Technician Apprentice (Mechanical
/Electrical /Instrumentation/Civil/Electrical & Electronics / Electronics)

• Technical Acumen in relevant discipline – 40
  marks
• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative
  aptitude-20 marks
• Reasoning Abilities -20 marks
• Basic English language skills -40 marks

Trade Apprentice (data entry operator / retails sales associate)

• Generic Aptitude – 30 marks
• Reasoning
  Abilities – 30 marks
• Basic English – 40 marks

The candidate needs to secure a minimum of
40% of marks in written test to qualify for selection process. The min. score
of 35% marks is for ST /SC /PwBD Categories for qualifying.

Also selected candidates needs to fulfill the
min. physical fitness standard/parameters as specified in the Apprentice Act
and Amendments /modification issued from time to time. Only the candidates
declared as fit in the pre – engagement medical and physical fitness shall be
considered eligible.
