According to the report, the approved list of candidates for Assistant Professors and non-teaching staff in Assam's provincialized colleges, on the other hand, would be published on Tuesday on the following web sites.

In a tweet, state education minister Ranoj Pegu stated that all accepted candidates for the aforementioned positions will be awarded employment letters on May 25, 2023, in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Guwahati.

Because of a scheduling change, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hand over appointment letters to newly recruited youths in Assam on May 25 rather than May 26.

Shah will arrive in Assam on May 24 for a two-day visit, and will take part in a big programme on May 25 in Guwahati, when the state government plans to present 45,000 employment letters to recently hired youths across several government sectors.

The Assam government has increased efforts to begin GIS mapping of all new colleges and schools throughout the state. In this regard, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma convened a review conference and urged all parties involved to use GIS technology to decide the location of new colleges and schools.

Under GIS mapping, all schools and colleges in the state will be geotagged and plotted in a satellite map to monitor habitation coverage and educational institution rationalization.
