Candidate should have done Ph.D. in Agricultural or Life Sciences / Natural Sciences ( Chemistry / Biochemistry / Soil / Agronomy )
Experience: Minimum 16 years of R & D experience out of which at least 7 years should be in a senior supervisory position. Years of research experience (Basic and /or Applied) will be computed from the beginning of the career as a Scientist only. Experience in the plantation sector, development of technology and its commercialisation / use for the users/ beneficiaries and having International Exposure will be an added advantage. They should be able to provide leadership in R & D to a team of Scientists and researchers and should be able to attract good research projects/funds. The candidate should have good scientific publications in peer reviewed / high impact factor journals. They should have good exposure of national and international trends in R&D, should have exposure of working in different National/International Institutes. The candidate should be able to create a conducive environment for a high class research & development.
Candidates should submit their application (Hard Copy only) along with relevant documents also to the Director, Tea Research Association, Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Cinnamara, Jorhat-785 008, Assam on or before 30th November 2024. Candidates may send advance copies by employed candidates along with a No Objection Certificate from the employer to the email: director@tocklai.net. They must also pay application fee @ Rs 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) via Demand Draft in favour of Tea Research Association payable at Jorhat should be enclosed along with the application form.
