About Atal Amrit Abhiyan Society Assam

During the Budget Speech 2016-17, the Government of Assam has announced implementation of Atal Amrit Abhiyan, a Health Assurance Scheme, for providing cashless treatment and coverage of Critical Care targeted at the BPL population and Low Income households.

Atal Amrit Abhiyan Society was set up to administer the scheme. The society was registered under Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1850 on 05.07.2017. The Society was set up to serve as the Principal Implementation Agency of Atal Amrit Abhiyan Scheme in the State along with any other ancillary activities in the health sector.
