Tripura Police Job Recruitment Notification 2022:

Tripura Police is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 500 vacant posts of Constables (Men & Women). Desirous candidates can check all the job details of no of posts, age limit, salary, qualification, etc prescribed below:

Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria for Tripura Police Job Vacancy:

1. For Unreserved Category : Passed in Madhyamik or equivalent board examination
2. For SC / ST Category : Class VIII Passed
3. In case of recruitment from Special Police Officer (SPOs)- Class VIII Passed for all categories – UR / SC / ST candidates.

Minimum Physical Standards:

For Men-

i) Height- Minimum 5'6″ for UR / SC candidates. For ST candidates, minimum height is 5'5″

ii) Chest-

a) If height of candidate is 5'6″ or more, then 31″ (unexpanded) and 33 (Expanded)

b). If the height of candidate is less than 5'6″ then 30″ (Unexpanded) and 32″ (Expanded).

For Women & Transgender-

i) Height – Minimum 5'0″ for UR/SC candidates. For ST candidates, minimum height is 4'11".

Desirable : Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok

• Aspiring candidates (Men &Women) should bring the following documents in original along with self-attested copies for appearing in the recruitment test-

a) Photo identity card, such as Aaadhar Card, PAN card, Voter ID card etc

b) Age proof certificate (Matriculation or equivalent certificate, Admit card or School leaving certificate), Educational qualification certificate Valid Caste /Category certificate issued by Sub-Divisional Magistrate

c) No Objection Certificate duly issued by the employer, in case the candidate is a Government employee.

d) Women candidate will bring self-declaration certificate certifying that she is not pregnant on the date of the physical endurance test.

e) Service certificate of SPO issued by the District SP, in case candidate is SPO

f) Service certificate of Home Guard candidates mentioning date of appointment and length of service issued by Commandant Home Guard.

g) 10,323 discharged ad-hoc Teachers is required to produce discharge order.

h) Four copies of recent passport sized photographs (Coloured). One copy is to be affixed with the application form and remaining three copies to be enclosed

i) Each candidate shall bring COVID-19 double vaccination certificate or RTPCR / Antigen test report generated not earlier than 72 hours from the actual date of Recruitment Rally.

• Candidates of all categories will submit application in the prescribed format as given at Annexure-I either printed, type written or neatly hand written on full scale plain paper (A4 size) with four copies of recent passport size photograph, not older than six months, should be submitted along with self-attested copies of above documents to the Selection Committee, Tripura Police Constable (Men & Women), by 8 AM at the specified date at respective venue.

Selection Procedure for Tripura Police Job Vacancy:
